    Open the demo

    Install Cinema Slaughter Demo on the computer you’ll use as the shared screen. Choose Local Room.

  2. 02

    Join on your phones

    Scan the room QR or enter its four-digit code at play.bubbleskull.net. The host can keep their hand on their own phone.

  3. 03

    Fill out the cast

    Add bots if you need them. Each match holds up to eight players total, including bots. Phone controls need internet access.

Just you and the bots?

Choose Play With Bots to play offline on the computer.

Installation notes.

Keep the complete installed package together. If you see a warning about malware or damage, stop and check the exact message.

Mac · Apple Silicon only

Open the .dmg and drag Cinema Slaughter Demo into Applications. Open it from there. This build supports M1 or newer Macs; it does not support Intel Macs.

This preview is not Apple-notarized. If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, follow Apple’s instructions for opening an app you trust ↗. The app-specific option is in System Settings → Privacy & Security after an attempted launch.

Windows · 64-bit

Run Cinema-Slaughter-Demo-Windows-x64-Setup.exe, then open Cinema Slaughter Demo from the Start menu. The installer is not distribution-signed, so Windows may display an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning.

The app needs Microsoft’s WebView2 Runtime. If it is missing, use the official WebView2 Runtime download ↗.

Linux · DEB or portable archive

On a compatible Debian-based system, open the .deb with your software installer. It declares the required WebKitGTK 4.1 dependencies.

For the portable archive, extract the complete folder and use its included launcher. WebKitGTK 4.1 must be installed on your system. Other distributions may need manual dependency setup. Steam is not required.

Can this demo join online or full-game rooms?

The demo offers shared-screen Local Rooms with phone controls and offline Play With Bots. Online matchmaking, Steam parties, joining full-game rooms and Twitch audience voting are not included.

Local Room describes the shared-screen mode. Phone controls connect through the hosted phone service.

Where is the Kickstarter campaign?

The Kickstarter campaign is not live yet. This page is the playable preview; there is no campaign link to share at the moment.
